So my roommate has now moved out of the abode giving me back my second bedroom for exactly five days. Chris and I are pretty tight so everyone was asking if I would miss him. Hell NO! Freedom, Sweet Freedom! Just kidding. I can't wait for the big wedding this weekend and trying to make him laugh during the ceremony. My dancing shoes are polished and my George Jefferson shuffle is ready to bust a move. I have also perfected a new version of "The Robot" called "The Sexy Robot". Picture a robot with the mojo of David Hasselhoff and Telly Savalas. It's "smooove".
Ooooo...an excellent "would you rather" was sent by my brother Mike:
"Would you rather be an American with a Canadian accent or be a Canadian citizen who spoke like an American?
Not that easy of a choice, eh? Either people think you are a Canadian by the way you talk, or you have to live a lie (because you obviously wouldn't admit your Canadian citizenship)."
Good point. I like it because it makes you think AND it makes fun of Canadians. Damn them with their friendly nature, low crime rate, and respect of the environment! Man, they really chap my ass. Sorry. I'd choose to remain an American and communication via one of the those Stephen Hawking robo-voice machines. Not only would it hjide my accent, it would be a nice touch to my new dance move.

I hope everyone had a pleasant weekend. Mine was chill, chill, chill (despite the heat). Friday I met up with some friends at one of Northern Virginia's finest meat markets, Carpool. I hadn't been there in about five years, but it was essentially the same. Lots of dudes in bad pleated pants looking for love in all the wrong places.
Side Note: my roommate (for exactly 24 more hours) just pooted in my room. Not nice.
Saturday I played golf out in Ashburn, VA (aka Ass-burn) with my old Factiva buddy, Dan Pettibone. Good times. It was my first time out this year, but I still beat Dan on the first nine. Then we decided on Match Play for the back nine. He beat the living crap out of me. Not good times. Saturday night Chris and I finally went to see Goldmember. I must say, a funny flick. The plot was none existent, but who cares? I love Mike Myers. "So I married An Ax Murderer" is genius.
On Sunday Steve and I got together for another run in the 98 degree heat. We only went about 6 to 7 miles but it was plenty. Even at 7 at night, the heat was unbearable.
Scariest part of my day: I was watching Jeopardy and the category was "Canadian Provinces". I got the first three correct before hurriedly changed the channel. I couldn't handle knowing that I possessed such knowledge of the Northern most state.
