I'm back here at Common Grounds, my home away from home. Kayrn, Bran Muff, and Ashley are all here too. Ashley, who just turned 28 yesterday (happy birthday!), is giving me the teacher look. Apparently, I was misbehaving at her party last night. I blame Par.

How was your week? Was it as friggin' cold as mine? Damn! It almost made me reconsider my whole stance on pants. No, not really, but it was Arctic-esque if I do say so myself. My week was a lot of fun. Working at USA Weekend Magazine was cool. Michele, MaryZ, and I managed to enjoy ourselves. Special congratulations to Michele for receiving Employee of the Day from the 1/21/03 temp staff (aka me and MaryZ). The award ceremony was quite special. You could feel the envy of her co-workers. I am suposed to head back there on Monday and will be sure to get some photos of me working the fax machine like a pro.

On Wednesday night I went to see a special sneak preview of "Old School" with Michele. If you love Will Ferrell, you have to see this movie. It was really funny. Vince Vaughn is the funniest he's been since Swingers. Good stuff.
