I received many cool things for my birthday yesterday, but today I want to mention a sweet gift I got for Christmas. Some people mock it and lump it together with Chia Pets, the Pasta Pro, and other "As Seen On TV" products. Maybe it's those cheesy commercials with the old lady clapping like a sea lion before going to sleep. But I'm here to TESTIFY (Al Green voice), the Clapper kicks ass. My brother Mike sent me one and it's now hooked up to the main floor lamp in my living room. Now I can turn the light on or off and NEVER have to leave the couch. What more could you hope for in a gift?

Happy Birthday to my brother Brian, who turns 32 today. It's also, as many of you know, my 31st birthday today. To celebrate, I've decided not to go to work today. Oh, wait...anyway, I hope Brian has a great day. All I want as a gift this year is for Georgetown to beat Rutgers. Since that's not likely, I'm going to buy myself something special. Problem is I don't know any local stores that sell dickies.

Today I received a cool video from our friends in Cameroon. Chris and Sarah gave a little tour of their apartment (the place with three bidets and no refrigerator). Unfortunately, I wasn't able to load the video so this picture taken from their balcony will have to do.

Went to the Georgetown game versus UCLA. If you saw the score, you realize my letter to the team was completely ignored. It was gross.
