Have you ever sat in one place for so long that your ass falls asleep? Well, I have and mine is. I've been churning out pages for the Byte Back web site which we're re-launching very soon. So far it's good stuff.
Tomorrow night is my birthday party at LuLu's in downtown DC. Admittedly, it has a cheesy reputation and I'm all for that. It'll make for more amusing pictures. So far almost 40 people are confirmed. That's one long drunken Conga line! My brother Mike's best friend growing up, Todd Parmalee, is the general manager at Lulu's and he has hooked us up with a room, free cover, etc. Stay tuned for the recap.

An open letter to the Georgetown Hoyas basketball team:
Hi, it's Dan. Just had a couple favors to ask. The first one, and you may have seen this coming, is please stop losing games. It's really starting to tick me off. Second, if you have to lose, and I mean it's ABSOLUTELY necessary, please stop making me think you're going to pull it out at the buzzer. The last minute stuff against Pitt, N.D., etc. is too much already.
Now, this is important so get out your #2 pencils and write it down. NEVER lose to Syracuse. That's a cardinal rule and I expect you to follow it. Otherwise, Teddy Ballgame gets to bust on me and since I have no comeback I have to resort to the old stand-by, the mother joke. Please don't make me do that. I really like his Mom. She's super nice.
Sweetney, you're off the hook because you're playing off the hook. The rest of you, get to work!!
Thanks,
Dan
