And it's back! A tip for all you people setting up a wireless network at home: read the instructions. I guess that goes for a lot of things.

Cheer, cheer for old Notre Dame!!!! Holy crap that was a fun game. First, I have to give John, a.k.a. Whiny, serious propers for hooking us with the SICKEST tickets. (This is where I apologize publicly for the Whiny McBitchalot comment - sorry.) We were right behind the Notre Dame bench, 40-yard line, 15 rows up. Silly. In case you didn't see the game, Navy was a 27-point underdawg and they played awesome. They were up 8 with 5 minutes to go. The Midshipmen at the Stadium we going crazy, especially when they made a special announcement from the head of the Naval Academy: if Navy won, everyone at the Academy would receive a free "Liberty" weekend, which I assumes means they get to leave base and have fun. Too bad! ND promptly scored a TD, made the 2-point conversion, stopped Navy, got the ball and scored an 80-yard TD on the next play. The place was almost all ND fans and they were all going nuts. Whew. I was sweating it there for a while.

Went to see Jackass tonight. I'll save that for later.

20 minutes after finishing my blog entry last night, I went home, messed with my wireless router and screwed up the whole thing. That's what I get for trying to be all fancy-smacy. Damn. I have to get that back up. Otherwise, I'll never hear the end of it from Whiny McBitchalot. Oops, I mean John.

So I FINALLY got the wireless network set up in our apartment. And man is it sweet. I mean. Wow. Really.

The cool part with the wireless network card is I'm able to use it so many places. I've had it four days and already I've used at home, my friend Brad's house, Byte Back (the other place I work), and in the coffee shop I'm in right now. I don't know if it's common for a coffee shop to have this kind of set up. Maybe the DC area is just cooler than where you live? Yeah, thought so. I mean with the sniper, nukes pointed at us, whiny Redskin fans, horrible traffic and the humid summers, what isn't there to love about DC?

Saturday I'm going to watch Notre Dame play! Well, I'm supposed to. A friend of John's is hooking us with four tickets. The tickets haven't arrived yet, but I have faith. If they don't, I'll kick him out of the apartment.

As you probably guessed by the infrequent updates, I've been a little busy. Between trips, lots of work, and studying for Java certification, I haven't had many spare moments. I still need to post pictures of my "PANTS" shirt and the new cowboy shirt I bought at Circle B Western Wear. Hank Williams would be proud.
