Okay, before I tackle the fanny pack issue, I have to discuss a difficult choice I made today. I bet $50 on the Europeans to win the Ryder Cup this weekend. Yes, I'm banking on Monte and his boys, just so I can win $94. Now, while I've never been the type of person to wrap myself in the American flag, I do concern myself a patriotic guy. Am I a little sarcastic when I sing "Proud to be an American" in karoake bars? Possibly. Then again, I am known to have a patriotic outburst or two. Like the time I brought the Flag out on the dance floor at Teddy's wedding. I think some flag waving and Hulk-a-mania-esque antics should be included in more wedding receptions, even though most of the older folk at the wedding strongly disagreed. Then there was the time Lou and I were running around Brian's house at 3 in the morning with the theme of Rocky blaring. I'm not exactly sure why we put on that show, running up and down the stairs like Rocky at the Philly Art Museum, follow by a series of one arm push-ups, but I think love of country had something to do with it. In the end I realized it wasn't a bad move by me because either way I win - either cash or the Americans bring back the Cup.

The fanny pack will just have to wait until next time. As many of youknow, I have VERY strong opinions on the use of fanny packs.

The blog is back! Maybe I should change the header to read, "My Monthly Diatribe". I'd like to say the Man was in cahoots with the Pants to keep the site down, but I was just being a poop. Well, poopy no longer am I! I have to thank my good friend Billy Dambra for finally getting me off my duff.

So much going on, where to begin? I think it's always a good idea to go straight to the Hate, don't you? Let's talk about Wilford Brimley. Does he annoy you too? Anyway, our genius marketing department at the firm that I work at has decided it's a good idea for everyone to fill out a form naming 5 things our co-workers might not know about us. It's some sort of company wide game. Meanwhile my department still doesn't have any marketing materials. I'm not even kidding. I want their job. Here are the 5 things I came up with:

1 - I think beards are a sign of weakness.
2 - I hate Wilford Brimley, but I still eat oatmeal everyday.
3 - I once punched a fish.
4 - I'm in a secret club that makes fun of you.
5 - I believe banning NASCAR races are a good way to reduce reliance on Middle East oil.

I hope my list is helpful. Let me know if you have any good ones I should include. Tomorrow we finally tackle the big fanny pack debate, with a little help from Sweet Lou.
