The Pants are dead, long live the Pants. Fear of Pants (www.fearofpants.com) is now up and running, which means I don't really need to use this blog anymore. I'll keep this site up for a few more days, but after that, I'll just put up an automatic redirect.

I started to make a wish list of things I absolutely need. Of course, number one was a huge foam cowboy hat. I once owned one but I let my brother Mike take it back with him after a visit to DC. He left it in the trunk of the rental car. I have not spoken to him since. I miss the days I would kick it around the apartment wearing nothing but my hat. Good times. NO, GREAT times.

Project Beard is now at Day 6.

Remember that one teacher who would give you pop quizzes to make sure you were doing your homework and paying attention in class? Well, I've become that teacher. I gave the students a pop quiz today and I don't think they were happy about it.

Did you watch 24 last night?! Wow. The nuclear bomb went off in the desert. The show is so addicting. We have to wait three weeks for a new episode though. Damn.

I'm getting closer to taking the Java Ceritification exam. Last night I came so close to passing one of the practice exams. I got 51% correct. I needed 52% to pass. On Sunday I only got 28% right on a different practice exam. Ouch. Needless to say it's a hard test and I'll be so happy when I pass.

Ron Jeremy is a terrorist? Who knew? Maybe he was arrested for impersonating a hedgehog.

Still working on www.FEARofPANTS.com. Getting frustrated but not giving up.

It ain't pretty, and it's likely to be replaced, but for now this is the logo for Fear the Pants (soon to be www.FEARofPANTS.com). I stayed up late last night getting tips from other blogs and trying to be fancy-smancy. I added code so my logo will appear in the address bar and when bookmarked, if you're so inclined to add the site to your list of favorites. If you already have the site bookmarked, you just need to bookmark it again, overwriting the old one. Then the mini-logo should appear. Give it a try and let me know if it works.

I know I've been saying this forever, but I really am going to transition this site to www.FEARofPANTS.com. Hopefully by Monday, I'll have it ready to go.

I was so bummed when I was driving to the gym this morning and I heard Mister Rogers died. Who doesn't love Mister Rogers?

I promised Stacy and Amanda I’d post a picture of the hideous "DAN" hat my Mom got me. Imagine my surprise when I received this under the Christmas tree. Puke green matched with a nasty brown highlight blocky images of deer along with my name prominently displayed in the front. And let’s not forget the brown puffball on the top. I think it's supposed to be a hunting hat but as a vegetarian of almost 8 years, I'm not likely to camp out in a tree, looking to cap some deer. I love my Mom and all, but what made her see this in Ames and say, “Oh! Dan would LOVE that!” I am glad I have it though. It makes for a good punishment when someone loses a bet – “Loser has to wear the Dan Hat to da club!”
